Umat Islam di berbagai penjuru dunia termasuk di Indonesia akan merayakan Hari Raya Idul Adha 1444 H. Jutaan bahkan milayaran umat muslim berbondongbondong berkumpul untuk melaksanakan sholat Idul Adha, masjid-masjid disibukkan dengan kegiatan penyembelihan hewan qurban. Allah SWT. Berfirman dalam QS AlKautsar ayat 2 yang artinya “Maka laksanakanlah sholat karena Tuhanmu, dan berkurbanlah (sebagai ibadah untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Allah)”<\/p>\n
Sebagaimana diketahui, perintah berqurban kepada umat islam berkaitan erat dengan kisah keteladanan Nabi Ibrahim AS dengan putranya Nabi Ismail AS. Kisah ini dalam Al-Qur’an termuat dalam Surat As-Safaat ayat 102 yang artinya: “Maka ketika anak itu sampai (pada umur) sanggup berusaha bersamanya, (Ibrahim) berkata, “Wahai anakku! Sesungguhnya aku bermimpi bahwa aku menyembelihmu. Maka pikirkanlah bagaimana pendapatmu!” Dia (Ismail) menjawab, “Wahai ayahku! Lakukanlah apa yang diperintahkan (Allah) kepadamu; insya Allah engkau akan mendapatiku termasuk orang yang sabar.”<\/p>\n
